Estefanie says "Hi" to everyone. 1. What sucks ass the most in your life?
I think I would have to say my home life. My family and I really do not get along and sometimes I wish I had a diffrent home life. As a kid I thought it was normal all th yelling and arguing, but growing up I reliazed it was diffrent then others. My brother is just a pain in the ass and while everyone always say you will get closer with age I know that I will proboly not see Tim agian, which I am happy about. The last couple of years have been bad and it has gotten to the point where I dont want friends over because I am so embarrased about my family. My going away parties can't be at home for the fact I don't want people to meet my brother and see my house. Also school is horrible right now. 2. Let's hear the story of the most embarassing moment of your life! :-D
OMG, there has been so many, I get embarrsed so easily and I always dwell on it for so long I am still mortified about things that happned in Kindergarden. I think my entire childhood was an embarrasement and I wish I could jut erase the board and have peple forget what I used to be like. And when I dwell on things I get more embarrsed and worried that poeple still remeber those events and occasionly bring it up for a good laugh at my expense. 3. What do you feel is your purpose in life? (Please realize that this question is entirely independent of the question: 'What do you want to do with your life?' which I know you do not have an answer for.)
I think my purpose in life is to change the world, to leave my mark on it. If it is in paleontology and other sciences or it is simply helping others. I want to make a diffrence and know that I was here to help the world and to have a purpose. I dont know what my purpose is exactly here, but I believe I have to do something I can not spend my life laying around I need to help others. 4. What do you wish you were better at?
There are lots of things I which I was better at school, music, exsercieing, and many things in general. I wish I was amzingaling talented in one area not just mediocre in many areas. I just want one talent where I would be the best. 5. What is the meaning of life?
Difficult question, for each person the answer is difent. I don't know, nor do I like to think about because this question leads to death which I am terrified of. Tags: life Current Mood: thoughtful

This weekend was amazing, I did not want to come home and well I guess I will just say what happened. Friday I left at about eight thirty and got their (in Wisconsin) at about nine thirty. The place we were staying at was in the middle of nowhere, but the hotel/resort was very nice and we had it all to ourselves! My room was not ready so I wandered about following some rotexs trying to find somewhere to dump my stuff until I ran into Maria and just left my studd in her room. We went down to the lobby to mingle with others and I just talked aboiut where I am going and whats up with others lifes. My room mate, Jenifer from South Africa was amazing she and I just talked and talked and she had the coolest accent (it sounded just like a british accent) She said cool things like lift instead of elevator. The activities on friday were very boring and mostly just information on what to do and not do and general information on rotary exchange. The eveining was amazing, the dinner was mardi gra themed and we were all wearing masks. The speaker was from Zimbabwe and so cool. He talked about how we was asked if people lived in trees in Africa, which he would reply that they did live in trees and his next door neighboor the American ambassdor lived in a even bigger tree. My table included Jenifer and David from South Korea who was awesome. That evening we hung out and went swimming. I think we went to bed around 1 or 2, so I did not stay up too late. Saturday This day was the best. In the mrning we played a cool game with tinker toys, but in the afternoon we got to hangout with the people specific to our countrys. I found out so much about Zambia. I will leave in THE END OF JULY! I am going to fly from Chicago to Amsterdam and then to SOuth Africa and up to Zambia. The food there will be so good with fruits and lots of meat. I will go to school all year long and wear a uniform. In school we will have several month long breaks. The weather will be incredably hot and houses don't having heating so if we have a cold winter you just have to bundle up. I am going to have 3 to 5 host families and thankfuly people will be very welcoming to Americans. I am most likely going to travel around my district that includes, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabewe and we will propboly go to South Africa. I will be in the Southern Hempshire so I am arving during there winter where it will be a freezing 60 degrees outside. There is so much more stuff I found out as well. We had a talent show that night which was kinda boring, but afterwards we just partied. I hung out at the pool and the sauna was great we were shoving 8 or 10 people into a tiny sauna and just having an amazing party we stayed at the pool till about one thirty in the mourning and went upstairs to dance unttil 2. At this time the rotexs (the ones who were supposed to watch us) left to go party themselves and many people stayed up all night. My room was tired so we just went to bed at two thirty (it was actually three thirty because of daylight savings time) Sunday I woke up at eight and just went to breakfast, got my blazer, collected some pins, bpought a t-shirt and said my goodbyes. Finally I went back home to Marquette. Tags: life, zambia Current Mood: exhausted
